Our client was in need of a solution which would allow them to easily transport lab equipment in a clean room environment.
They provided specifications of the equipment they were using and briefed our design team on the environment the trolleys would be utilised in.
As these units were to be used in a clean room area, we ensured that our design met the standards required. The trolleys were assembled with IPA resistant materials and anti-static casters to ensure clean room compliance. We also incorporated additional ergonomic elements following design reviews with the client.
In this case, the client wished to use the trolleys to transport HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) lab equipment which required an electrical supply. As each trolley would be a mobile unit, electrical distribution was installed along with cable management trunking to fit the client’s needs.
A SAT (Site Acceptance Test) was then carried out with the client as part of the delivery requirement.
